yOU AND AYA

OWNED START TO FINISH * ONE PAIR OF HANDS

Main Floor Media · produced, shot, edited, scored · 2026–present

You and Aya is a podcast I produce through Main Floor Media, my own independent production company, and it's the clearest look at what I do when a project is fully mine. I built the brand and the look, shot and lit it, then edited, mixed, and scored every episode myself. I also ran the social side and grew it to 65k+ views across platforms in its first three episodes. This is the kind of work I love most, where the story, the camera, and the sound all come from the same place.

Branding · Cinematography · Editing · Color · Original Score · Social

I handle the whole video pipeline on You and Aya: shooting, lighting, editing, color, and the original score. Owning every step is what lets the whole show feel like one consistent thing instead of a bunch of pieces stitched together. This is the part of the work I love most, where the story, the camera, and the sound all come from the same place.

For the photography, I got to really play with studio lighting and fill, chasing a 90s and early 2000s magazine feel, but pulling it forward enough to read modern. I used film emulation to lock in that look, balancing the nostalgia with a clean, current edge. Getting to light and shoot it, start to finish, is exactly the hands-on kind of work I'm drawn to.

PHOTOShoot

I built the visual identity for You and Aya from the ground up, including Aya's logo. I leaned into a film look that gave the graphics a clear, concise vision, a retro and cozy vibe that carries across the whole project. The brand colors and font came out of real iteration: I worked closely with feedback and kept refining until we landed on something that felt right. That's how the whole show ended up feeling like one cohesive world.
